Collaborative, In-Home Support for Your Patients

Quiet Heart Animal Wellness provides veterinary-experienced, in-home supportive care designed to reinforce treatment plans, support owner compliance, and reduce patient stress between clinic visits.

Two patients behind and a client who still has questions — it’s a familiar challenge. I bridge that gap with clear, non-diagnostic explanation calls that reinforce your medical plan and reduce unnecessary follow-up pressure on your team. A written summary of each discussion is provided to the primary veterinarian to ensure transparency and consistent messaging. My role is strictly educational — I do not alter, reinterpret, or challenge medical recommendations.

Scope of Support

Services may include:

  • Post-surgical recovery and rehabilitation support

  • Blood Pressure Readings (ideal for CKS and heart disease patients)

  • Passive range-of-motion exercises and comfort-focused bodywork

  • Incision checks, TPR’s, and bandage changes

  • Nervous system regulation and stress reduction - great for anxious pets weaning off anti-anxiety medications!

  • In-home reinforcement of post-operative and medical instructions

  • Palliative and hospice care support

  • Caregiver education to support treatment compliance

Supporting Owner Compliance

One of the greatest challenges in recovery is consistency at home.

Quiet Heart Animal Wellness supports compliance by:

  • Reinforcing veterinary instructions in the home setting

  • Providing calm, hands-on guidance to caregivers

  • Reducing stress for patients who struggle with clinic visits

  • Supporting follow-through when time, mobility, or finances limit rechecks

Communication & Collaboration

With client consent, Quiet Heart Animal Wellness is happy to:

  • Communicate directly with the primary clinic

  • Receive written treatment or post-operative instructions

  • Provide brief observational updates, including photos when appropriate

  • Flag concerns promptly and refer back to the clinic

All communication remains observational and within professional scope.

Ideal Referral Cases

Quiet Heart Animal Wellness may be a good fit for:

  • Post-surgical patients requiring at-home support

  • Animals recovering from acute illness

  • Senior or chronically ill patients

  • Palliative or hospice cases

  • Clients who would benefit from additional guidance and support at home

Referral Process

Referrals are simple and flexible:

  1. Referral initiated by the clinic or client

  2. Client provides consent for communication

  3. Written instructions shared when applicable

  4. In-home support provided within scope

  5. Observational updates shared with the clinic when appropriate

Cases are accepted on an individual basis. Referrals involving animals who require sedation or advanced restraint techniques beyond the home environment may be declined based on safety and physical considerations.

  • "I've worked with Jeanette in different settings and under different stressors, and she always comes across as an extremely professional vet tech. She's kind, patient and so knowledgeable. I can always count on her skills as a vet tech to treat pets successfully and efficiently! She has the best bedside manner both with owners and animals, and I find most pets feel at ease when Jeanette is nearby. She has an amazing amount of compassion and empathy which I value greatly, especially working in the veterinary field."
